After a few starters which included deviled eggs and baguette with butter and Parmesan I ordered the evenings special cocktail – a Mango-rita rimmed with lime and chili salt. Yowza – that was delicious!

For dinner my daughter had the Cheese Platter (with two goat cheese selections and a cheese similar to brie) with fresh baguette slices, crostini, and flax-seed crackers. I had the Lobster, Corn and Tomato Risotto.

We opted to skip dessert (Flourless Chocolate Cake or a Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee) and walk up the street for ice cream – my daughter is 10 after all. As always our meal was delightful and delicious and the chef and staff were friendly and cheerful.  If you have never been, you should make a point to stop in for dinner or just a few appetizers and a glass of wine (from their fantastic selection).

My nickname for this plant is Summer’s Snowflake. The sparser of the flowers, like this one, remind me of big fat snowflakes. Do you see it too?
